What is a Duck Race?
Ducks are small yellow plastic artificial ducks.  We drop the 1,000 ducks off the Rt926 Bridge and they float down the Goose Creek Stream to the finish line in three heats.  Winners of each heat are re-entered in the final race where the grand prizes are won.  25 Ducks win prizes in each heat.  Each Duck is adopted for $5.00 and runs in one race heat.  Ducks are not sold.  They are adopted.  We keep the Ducks to run in next year's race. Each heat will have at least one major prize.  Since Twenty-five Duck winners within each heat will run in the grand prize heat, some will win multiple prizes. Each Duck Adoptee receives a certificate with the duck’s number. Each heat is color coded so you know which race matches up to your duck certificate.
